For a DN350 gas phase line pipeline, the technical department needs to install a DN50 valve directly on the elbow. The pipeline has a slight positive pressure. There has been no precedent for doing this before, and it feels inappropriate. I would like to ask if there are any relevant standards or specifications that require this.
What medium is inside? The pressure is not high, some people do this, improve the leak detection, 100% flaw detection, etc.
