Does anyone know the design specifications or regulations for check valves? ? ? What kind of piping or equipment setup? ?

GB 12236 is the manufacturing standard for check valves. Check valves should be installed at the pump outlet to prevent backflow of the fluid; they are also necessary in pipelines where backflow needs to be prevented. Check valves should be used at the points where utility lines connect with process material lines. Additionally, check valves are required on the filling pipelines for liquid hydrocarbon storage tanks.
