It is inspected in accordance with the relevant construction and acceptance standards; the pipeline installation company is responsible for the inspection, in conjunction with the owner and the supervisor. No design input is required. The special inspection agency will conduct random inspections and re-inspections. How then are the equipment purchased under the technical agreement inspected? ? The equipment is inspected in accordance with the technical specifications; the manufacturer, the owner, and the supervisor carry out this inspection together. It should be organized by the procurement department, with participation from the owner’s construction management department, quality management department, supervision team, and the construction unit, all of whom shall conduct the joint inspection. 2. The participation of the design unit is not required. 3. Acceptance shall be carried out in accordance with the pipeline manufacturing standards provided by the design unit. 4. The complete set of equipment is inspected in accordance with the technical agreement signed by both parties and the documentation provided by the equipment manufacturer; if there is a foundation, the bolt spacing also needs to be measured to check whether it matches that of the foundation bolts. Incidentally, the design team does not need to be involved in everything. The designer is responsible for delivering the technical documents and drawings to the client, who, along with the supervisor and the construction party, should have the ability to understand the content of those drawings.
It is inspected jointly by the procurement department of the EPC contractor, the owner, the supervisor, and the material management personnel of the construction unit. After passing the inspection, it is handed over to the warehouse manager of the construction unit.
As for the acceptance of steel pipes. . First, it must meet the design requirements (refer to the material list provided in the design); if the design is vague, the steel pipe specifications can be used. There are many types of specifications for steel pipes (for specific details, refer to the codes for surface coating standards for steel pipes), such as GB9711-2011, the American standard series API-SPEC-5L-2007, ANSI/ASME B36.10M ANSI, the European standard series, and so on. The acceptance of complete sets of equipment can be carried out in accordance with the equipment acceptance procedures, by checking whether all necessary quality assurance documents are available, whether all required certification documents are present, and whether there are sufficient documents related to calibration and testing (such as for safety valves). The remaining aspect to consider is the quality of the equipment’s appearance
