Metal detector: A conveyor metal detector that uses magnetic induction coils installed on the carrying section of the conveyor to detect iron objects mixed within the material. When the iron piece passes through the magnetic induction coil, the magnetic field strength of the coil changes, causing a sudden change in the output voltage. This triggers the control and amplification system to send signals and commands that stop the conveyor, and it automatically deposits sand markers at the location where the iron piece is located, to facilitate manual search. 2. Belt-type iron removal device: The belt-type iron removal device uses a short conveyor, with the drum at the head end being composed of electromagnets or permanent magnets. When the material contains foreign iron, this iron cannot be discharged according to the discharge curve, but is removed at a point slightly further down the machine, thereby achieving the purpose of iron removal. 3. Suspended electromagnetic iron remover: This type of device can directly remove ferrous materials mixed in the material. It mainly consists of a conveying device for discarding iron and an electromagnetic magnet box for attracting iron. The former is driven by a reducer to rotate the head drum, thereby making the dump conveyor belt move ; The latter is installed in the middle of the dump conveyor belt; the magnet box is composed of side plates, a bottom plate, a cover plate, and an iron core, among other components. Magnetic flux lines pass through the dump conveyor and act on the material layer, thereby attracting ferromagnetic substances in the material to the bottom of the dumping conveyor device; the conveyor then transports these substances out of the magnetic field, causing them to be ejected. The winding of the magnet box is cooled by forced ventilation. Electromagnetic iron removers should be installed at an angle (15°-20°) above the drum at the head of the conveyor, as this provides the best iron removal effect when the material is dispersed. However, the drum should be made of stainless steel. This device can also be arranged vertically to the conveyor, but its iron removal efficiency is lower than when it is placed at the discharge point at the head end.
