Dear sea friends, the gasifier uses a dry powder gasification process to gasify raw coal gas. Is a high-efficiency separator combined with water washing used in the first steam-water separator for gas conversion, and what is the performance of this setup? What happens to the liquid phase at the bottom of the separator, and can the pipelines get clogged? How should this be dealt with? Are there any improvements and what is the performance?

For the vaporization of crude gas in the various separators of the conversion unit, high-efficiency vaned gas-liquid separators are commonly used, including the first steam-water separator, which exhibits excellent separation efficiency and stability. Using a separator for steam-water separation in the changing unit is quite common ； High-efficiency gas-liquid separators combined with water washing are less common, unless extremely strict requirements exist regarding the level of fine dust in the gas entering the conversion unit. I have seen in Siemens’ gasification process packages large water scrubbers installed at the end of the gasification unit to wash the raw gasified gas. However, after washing, an air-liquid separator is still required to remove the large number of liquid droplets carried in the gas stream, so as to prevent these droplets from entering the primary conversion reactor with the gas flow and causing a \"bubble column\" phenomenon, which would be problematic. Install a tee at the liquid level to regularly add hot water and then drain it. Otherwise, block the drain valve and the control valve.
It’s okay; whether this effect is good or not depends on whether the operator carries out the tasks properly. Treat it as a key focus for inspection and control.
