Where should fire extinguishers be placed during on-site welding operations? Is it at the site where direct heating is taking place, or around the gas cylinders?
I also thought it should be placed at the site where work is being carried out with fire, but the people from Qihua Construction said they wanted to teach me a lesson – the correct location is next to the gas cylinders.
When a fire first breaks out and its scope is small with a weak intensity, it is the best time to use a fire extinguisher to put it out. Therefore, it is very important to properly and reasonably configure fire extinguishers. Therefore, the fire extinguisher should be placed at a distance close to the supervisor or workers. And there are no obstacles, allowing for quick access to the fire extinguisher.
