Market for wear- and corrosion-resistant nickel-based internal spraying tubes

Spraying inside nickel-based material pipes, with diameters of 25–80 mm and a coating thickness of 0.2–0.4 mm; the pipe length is up to 9 meters. The coating forms a metallurgical bond with the base material. I would like to ask experts whether there is a market for such products?

It’s hard to say; the main markets are likely to be the oil wells and casings in the oil industry. These were used in previous years, require threaded connections, and price is also an important factor to consider. Coils inside boilers are said to have been used as well, but they have not been widely adopted.

Thank you for your reply. I have previously worked with oil well pipes; the price of G3 alternatives is acceptable, and nickel-based pipes work fine as well. However, there are always some imperceptible pores on the surface coating. These pipes have to go thousands of meters deep underground, and they meet the API5LD standards. Yet there is a concern regarding perforation and corrosion accidents, which is why further use of such pipes has not been considered. Now I am considering pipes for use in chemical applications under high temperature and pressure conditions, but I’m not sure if that approach is appropriate. The oxidation issue related to supercritical boiler pipes is also still in the experimental stage
