The text in CAD drawings has turned into boxes; how can I restore it? ? ?
Changing the font format might make the text appear; that’s what I tried – just use the built-in fonts. Many of them can be displayed. The CAD Quick View software works too. Any font is no problem
First, replace it using gbtbig.shx; if it still doesn’t appear after the replacement, then there’s no other option but to use a font that is located remotely.
You can view the characteristics of the font; within those characteristics, you can see the text style, content, and so on. Adjust the text style and height; the text will definitely appear if it’s there.

It’s a font issue; try using a different font. If you don’t want to replace it every time, download the missing font from the internet, or find a similar one and change its name
It’s a common issue when CAD versions differ; establishing one’s own standards helps – layers, text styles, and dimensions with problems can all be quickly adjusted to meet those standards. There really is no perfect solution to this, it’s frustrating
Top up your font library! :) Download the font library and place it in the font folder within the CAD installation directory, and that’s it
