Can hex bolts be used for the bolts in ASME Standard 600-pound flange connections? Are double-headed studs still necessary? Is it specified in the standards? Thank you, does anyone know how to help solve this? It’s urgent!
Such high pressure definitely cannot use hex head bolts; hex head bolts can only be used in low-pressure applications.
