The slag outlet of the gasifier becomes narrower, the flow rate increases, and the slag is blown out in a filamentous shape (my personal interpretation)
At low temperatures, the slag has poor fluidity and high viscosity, resulting in wire-like formations emerging from the slag outlet due to air currents; The low-temperature slag outlet narrows or gets blocked, resulting in air-induced wire drawing and gravity-induced wire drawing ; The high-temperature slag outlet is blocked or severely narrowed, resulting in gravitational drawing
It can be determined by the color, length, and thickness of the thread – generally, threads drawn at low temperatures are black, thick, and long; those drawn at high temperatures are thin, short, and bright. Remember not to rely on a single indicator; instead, use multiple indicators together to take into account the overall amount of slag, the shape of the slag, the pressure difference at the slag outlet, the effective components of the syngas, the levels of methane and CO2, as well as high-temperature thermocouples and surface thermocouples
