What is the function of a pressure stabilizing tank? Why do some loading pumps have pressure stabilizing tanks while others don’t?
I don’t understand. It has something to do with the type of pump, right? If it is a pulsating type like a plunger pump, there should be a pressure stabilizing tank.
For reciprocating positive-displacement pumps such as diaphragm pumps and piston pumps, pressure stabilizing tubes are usually available to minimize pulses as much as possible, while continuous positive-displacement pumps like rotor pumps and centrifugal pumps generally do not require buffer tanks.
