I have a constant-pressure vessel that produces 45 m3 of water per hour, and an equal volume of nitrogen needs to be supplied; the nitrogen pressure is 0.4 Mpa and the pipe diameter is 32 mm. Both the temperature of the vessel and that of the nitrogen are assumed to be at room temperature. If a flow meter is installed on the nitrogen pipeline, should the operating conditions or standard conditions be used? How to choose the operating condition? How to choose under standard conditions? For selection, what kind of flow meter should I use? Experts, please help!
This atmospheric-pressure container should be a sealed vessel, equipped with a differential pressure transmitter to control the flow rate of nitrogen in the pipeline, thereby keeping the pressure inside the container at approximately 0; there is no need for a nitrogen flow meter.
There’s no need to add a flow meter; just install an N2 sealing device, and a slight positive pressure in the control system will suffice.
It depends on the type of flow meter you choose; if it’s a velocity-type meter, then it measures the flow rate under operating conditions
A metal tube float flow meter will do! If remote transmission is needed, you can choose the model with remote transmission!
Choose according to standard conditions; use a metal float, and add a transmitter if remote transmission is required
