Let me first explain the method and equipment used for adding antifreeze in my factory: a square iron tank is constructed, insulated from the outside, and equipped with neatly arranged heating pipes inside; a metering pump is used to add the antifreeze to the diesel before it is sent out through the flow meter. Normally, the anticoagulant is manually added to the square tank using an iron barrel. Due to the limited volume of the tank, it is necessary to add the substance every two days on average. This not only requires labor but also results in the floor and workers’ clothes being covered with antifreeze, making cleanup very difficult. Another issue is that it’s difficult to monitor the liquid level. Due to the high viscosity of the antifreeze, it’s not possible to use a level gauge; instead, manual measurement using a steel ruler is required. This process is not only tedious but also inaccurate. Ask how it can be improved to make it more convenient.
We do the same thing, using a pneumatic diaphragm pump to pump into the tank.
