Hello everyone. Some time ago, our department organized experts to conduct inspections on emergency management practices in various companies. During these inspections, one of the experts carefully checked against the requirements outlined in GB30077-2013. Our company’s emergency supplies fell short of those requirements; most of the items can be replenished in the near future. However, there is one requirement on the list regarding the provision of rescue fire trucks – medium-sized hazardous materials handling companies are required to have 1–2 such trucks. Well, fire truck issues can usually be resolved quite easily. How do your companies address the need to have fire trucks? ? I’m begging you :'( Medium-sized hazardous chemicals facilities (number of employees: between 300 and 2000) ； Sales volume: 30 million–300 million ； Total assets: 40 million–400 million ； Two out of three are sufficient); enterprises of a somewhat larger scale fall into the category of medium-sized hazardous chemical units
There shouldn’t be a need, right? If a fire truck is to be equipped, several professional firefighters must also be available, and a small fire station needs to be established for their training. Given the current conditions, many enterprises are at a medium scale, making this approach highly impractical in China. It is estimated that such requirements will not arise in the future either; it might become more practical to have fire protection agencies established on a regional basis in chemical production areas. (However, it is more likely that **several companies will work together to establish such agencies.)
Sign joint defense agreements with nearby companies, so that their fire protection facilities can also be used by you
These standards are all imaginary, devised based on intuition, and could be said to have undergone no risk analysis.
Not every company has its own fire truck; several organizations can combine to establish one, as long as the distance between them meets the required standards.
Refer to Standard 8.3: For emergency rescue supplies other than those available at the workplace, the hazardous chemicals facility may enter into mutual assistance agreements with other relevant entities in its vicinity or with emergency rescue organizations. Such entities or organizations, which are able to arrive at the scene within 5 minutes of receiving an alert, can be used as emergency rescue supplies for the facility itself. There is usually a fire station near chemical industrial parks; check if there is one within a 5-minute drive distance
I also think it would be fine to sign an emergency rescue agreement with the companies in the surrounding area
