Question: 1. Currently, we need to design a distillation tower platform with 5 floors, the elevation of the top floor being 22 meters. The total weight of the equipment on the platform is 10 tons: 1 ton on the 2nd floor and 9 tons on the 5th floor; the remaining equipment is placed on the ground. The designed load-bearing capacity of the foundation is 12 tons. So, what size of steel columns are required? Could someone help me design it? The spacing between columns is 5000*5000. 2. Are there any CAD plugins or software available for designing steel structure columns? 3. Is it necessary to install supports on the steel frame after the distillation tower is in place? What are the common structural forms available? 4. It would be even better if you could provide a rough design diagram! ! Thank you
Are these the specifications for the columns? I don’t understand. . .
Could a friend from a design institute help with the calculations?
I am learning * and how to solve problems, thank you
It can be calculated using the structural analysis software PKPM
It’s something related to the structural engineering field; it has nothing to do with towers – it’s just frame steel structures
Could that worker explain to me: I’m considering adding another layer of small platform. Without any special equipment, it will be a standard operating platform for ordinary people. The platform is 4700 mm high, 1500 mm wide, and 6000 mm long. What kind of columns would be suitable for use in this case, and how should I carry out the verification? Thank you.
