Is a 2m3 condensate recovery tank with a gas space subject to the regulations on pressure vessels?
It’s impossible to tell; there’s no information on design pressure, working pressure, or the volume of the gas phase space, so it’s unpossible to make any judgments.
Generally, one normal flow port and one overflow port are provided, in accordance with the design for pressure vessels at normal pressure...
At a temperature of 85°C and with a gas space volume of more than 0.03 m3, if the pressure is greater than 0.1 Mpa, does it necessarily fall under the jurisdiction of pressure equipment regulations?
Is it necessary to seal the condensate tank? This doesn’t need to be classified.
However, with a working pressure of around 0.1 Mpa, there is a large gas phase volume; it would be helpful to have evidence that no decomposition occurs
