How are container specifications indicated?

May I ask, if the equipment diameter is 2000 and the length of the cylinder is 6000 (at the weld line), how should the specifications be stated? Is it Φ2000×6000 (W.L)? If the length of the cylinder is only the tangent length, is it then Φ2000×6000 (T/T)? Is there such a notation as Φ2000×6000 (W/W)?
Our company usually indicates it as “DNXXXX VNXXX”; for example, “DN2000 VN40” means a nominal diameter of 2000 mm and a nominal volume of 40 cubic...
In our* detail column, it is I.D. 2000x thickness L=6000; indicating I.D. is quite good. If the diagram is too small, it’s hard to tell whether the arrow is on the inside or outside. On the front view, T.L. can be indicated from start to end.
