Why does water in the raw material cause flooding of the tower? There’s also the liquefied gas distillation tower; since water has a higher density than liquefied gas, how does water manage to reach the top of the tower?
The raw material contains water, and as this water evaporates into water vapor, the gas phase load in the tower becomes excessive, resulting in flooding or backflow in the tower. The water rises to the top of the tower in gaseous form, and then condenses into water inside a cooler.
