Recently, I used PDSoft to create 3D models and also generated 2D drawings. However, when calculating the material requirements, the pipe length values were shown in scientific notation, and the number of valve flange gaskets was incorrect as well. . . . All kinds of methods were tried, but none worked. Model 1 crashes as soon as it is checked. . I really don’t know what to do. I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue and knows how to solve it?
It is recommended that you check the p parameter for pipe length in the project database, as well as to verify whether the gaskets of the appropriate grade have been selected correctly
It’s normal for the model checking to freeze; if there are too many pipelines, it will freeze for a long time. I always wait patiently for it to come back online: lol And it does come back, though it takes some time – one might need to drink a few cups of tea in the meantime. As for using scientific notation for the pipeline lengths, one has to be careful about that. Generally, the lengths of pipelines aren’t at such a scale as to require scientific notation. You need to check whether the lengths are correct; if not, then there’s something wrong with those pipeline models expressed in scientific notation, and you’ll need to delete them and redraw them! Considering the crashes in your model, if it fails to recover, it’s very likely due to a pipeline bug that needs to be removed. . . . It’s quite normal for there to be problems with the flange gaskets; most likely, they weren’t properly installed during construction~
