Question: The tank was originally designed as a Class C tank (vaulted tank) for storing fuel oil. Due to changes in the market, it is now intended to be converted into an internal floating roof tank so that it can be used for storing Class A and B materials such as gasoline. **What should be the approval process in this regard?
Isn’t an atmospheric pressure dome tank unnecessary? It’s not a pressure vessel, so there’s no need to obtain a usage permit from the quality supervision bureau. The fire department just needs to complete the registration, right?
Safety supervision and fire departments are likely to need to go through approval procedures; what about other departments? Is there anyone among my friends who has experience in this area?
