Can too high a pH of the MTO quench water cause the water quality to become emulsified?
For oil-water emulsification, alkaline water is indeed more suitable, but to achieve a proper degree of oil-water emulsification, the alkalinity needs to be high enough. Generally, quench water is neutral; it only becomes prone to emulsification if the pH value is very high. By what extent do you mean the pH value is too high? Is it above pH 12?
