Knowing the particle size of the coal fed into the coal grinder, the Harzing grindability index, and the desired quality of the coal slurry, how can one select the appropriate coal grinder? How does one need to calculate it in order to determine it? Or, what indicators can be used to determine whether a wet overflow rod mill in operation meets the design requirements?
The manufacturer of this mill has a calculation software that can be used for this purpose; in addition, there is a book dedicated to mills that provides detailed explanations on the subject.
Dude, share the book so I can take a look
I want to do some calculations to see if our mill has reached its designed capacity, and to find out the reasons why it hasn’t
I suggest you contact the mill manufacturer and ask them to help with the calculation; they will be more than happy to do so. It’s impossible to estimate this on one’s own
This software contains elements of experience
By the way, I’d like to use this post to ask fellow sailors for their advice as well: compared to domestic coal grinding mills, are there any obvious differences in terms of performance or advantages in the imported ones? Also, how to choose between a rod mill and a ball mill? Also, are imported coal mills the most advanced ones from the United States and Germany? Thank you
I’ve never worked with imported grinders, so I assume there is a difference between them; however, the price difference is likely even greater. In the early days of coal-water slurry gasification, some systems used ball mills, but later on rod mills were more common. According to the research I’ve done, rod mills consume less electricity than ball mills. I’ll upload the documents to my computer once I’m there
The inlet for coal mills isn’t that important; the ones produced by the former Luoyang Mining Machinery Factory, now known as CITIC Heavy Industry, are of high quality, and Shenye should be good as well.
Thank you to the two brothers above for their advice; I’ve finally resolved this question in my mind
