The additives used in the water-coal slurry gasification process mainly include water-coal slurry additives, flocculants, and dispersants for the ash-water system. Different coal qualities result in varying amounts of additives to be used and different proportions of the components in these additives. Currently, the quality of chemicals used in graywater systems varies greatly. Especially after the adoption of a system based on lowest bidding prices, many companies reduce the effective concentration of additives in order to win bids, opting instead for cheaper components. This leads to unstable operation of graywater systems, a shorter operational lifespan, and a higher rate of waste discharge. The **decline in profits has left many pharmaceutical companies without any incentive to improve the effectiveness of these additives; as long as no major problems arise, they will continue to have manufacturers use them. As for the operating cycles and waste discharge levels of those manufacturers, I have neither the obligation nor the resources to make any improvements. After changes in coal quality, the additives used in the ash water treatment system should be adjusted accordingly. However, many chemical manufacturers lack the capability and time to re-screen these chemicals, resulting in inconsistent performance of the ash water treatment system. In China, whenever a particular business becomes profitable, similar companies will emerge in large numbers very quickly, coming in various forms. There are many shell companies that lack the necessary products and technologies, as well as good performance; in order to win bids, they have to lower their prices. This results in very low profits for the additives used in this system. There are also many companies that, even after winning the bid, have had their contracts canceled by the manufacturers due to poor quality of the medications and inadequate subsequent management. As an additive supplier, to be honest it’s becoming less and less interesting to do this work; I’m considering changing careers these days. :'(
