Our company produces two products: phosphorus trichloride and phosphorus oxychloride. The exhaust gases are absorbed with water, resulting mainly in salts, acids, as well as phosphorous acid or phosphoric acid. PP pipes are used for these pipelines, and leaks often occur due to pipe aging. Additionally, pipe deformation happens because the strength of the pipes is insufficient. I would like to ask for the expert’s advice: which type of pipe is generally suitable – one that is resistant to corrosion, strong, and at the same time cost-effective and practical.
Enameled pipes and lined steel pipes can also be made manually, by inserting a PP pipe inside the steel pipe and then bending it on site.
The steel-lined PO has sufficient strength and is also inexpensive.
Using carbon steel pipes lined with plastic can solve your pipeline problems.
The acid concentration of this type of absorbing salt is not high; ordinary plastic materials such as UPVC and PP can be used. FRPP has much better strength and aging resistance than PP, and it is also weldable. Steel-lined PO is definitely a good option; it’s just more expensive.
Our company also produces tri-clad products; a steel lining with PO is sufficient……
