How is the discharge capacity of the safety valve calculated for a liquefied gas cylinder coated with Cool Gel?
The size of the safety valve is determined based on the maximum amount of emissions under various conditions, such as a. the outlet valve being closed while material continues to flow in, b. thermal expansion, and c. fire. It seems that in the case of a fire, the leakage volume would be the highest!
