Have you ever felt like you chose the wrong career and wanted to change fields?

As the saying goes, men should be careful to choose the right career. I have been involved in equipment management and maintenance in the chemical industry for 7 years; it’s a sector associated with state-owned enterprises in the Northeast, an environment filled with stress and anxiety. Some of my classmates work in foreign or private chemical companies, and they too feel a lot of pressure and think they have chosen the wrong career. Is it possible to change career at this age? It does take courage to start from scratch – are there anyone who has been through this and can offer some advice?
Change it before you turn 30; otherwise, it will be too late.
I agree with the view expressed on the second floor: it’s awkward to still be hesitating about choosing a career after turning 30. In my opinion, one should be able to choose their industry and employer within five years of graduating; after that, it’s necessary to settle down and spend ten years developing one’s skills in that field to become excellent. After turning 40, one should be able to enjoy the various benefits and advantages that come with that profession and working environment.
I thought about it for a long time, but then I stopped thinking about it.
There is no right or wrong in the industry, nor in personal choices; everything is measured against the passage of time.
Keep a calm mindset, focus on building your knowledge and skills – opportunities will always arise. Once you have the necessary abilities, other aspirations will follow naturally
If changing careers would not be better than staying where you are now, then don’t change; just keep working hard at what you have.
If you want to change, do it while you’re young – hurry up. But have you thought it through carefully about which industry you like?
