What pump should be used to transport crude oil with a specific gravity of 0.90 over a distance of 1000 meters? Do directly buried pipes need insulation?
Insulation should be determined based on the type of oil.
A conventional centrifugal pump is sufficient for use in pumps. Generally, insulation is not required when the pump is buried directly underground, but it still depends on the local weather conditions and the depth of burial.
