The tray support ring is installed using JB1205; there are requirements regarding the levelness of this support ring, and the tolerances vary depending on the diameter of the tower. So are there any requirements for packed towers as well? According to what standards is it carried out?

This standard is commonly used, but there are no specifications regarding the levelness of the support rings in plate and packed towers

The levelness of the support rings for the packing tower grid is generally determined according to those of the tray support rings; otherwise, the installation of the packing grid will be affected.
Under normal circumstances, it is sufficient to follow the requirements regarding the levelness of the tower plates. Bulk packing has lower requirements for levelness, while structured packing has higher requirements. The requirement for the levelness of the tray can be set higher.
The support grid plate requires flatness, while the support ring does not.
