What pressure protection measures can be employed for low-pressure storage tanks? How to choose?
Low-pressure storage tanks should be equipped with safety valves, right?

Generally, the pressure protection for low-pressure storage tanks includes a design pressure; high-high alarms for venting/tapping, high alarms for the control valve’s venting/tapping function; interlocks to shut off the inlet valve; low alarms for the start/stop of the BOG compressor or nitrogen pressure maintenance, with interlocks to stop the transfer pump and close the outlet valve; low-low alarms that trigger the opening of the make-up/vent valve; and a design negative pressure level
The tank top must be equipped with a vent valve, and the outlet pump can be interlocked with the pressure inside the tank; for example, if the pressure inside the tank drops below -1 kPa, the pump will stop operating.
