Hello everyone. Regarding the pressure gauge ports and safety valve ports on tall vertical gas storage tanks, how do you arrange them? If they are placed at the top, it meets regulatory requirements, but it is not convenient for operation; If it is set at the bottom, does it not meet regulatory requirements? How do you all handle this issue?

It’s better to look at the media and related standards. The safety valves on vertical gas storage tanks that I’ve seen are generally installed at the top, as they are not needed for regular operation. The pressure gauge can be placed in the middle or upper part for easier observation.
First of all, thank you for your reply. Could you tell me what the reasons and basis are for placing it in the center? Isn’t GB150 defined as the working pressure being the pressure at the top?
