Recent measurements of the roof suction force were conducted on a 5.5 coke oven; although there were some blockages in the measurement tubes, it was found that there was essentially no difference between the increases and decreases in roof suction force. What’s going on? Please, experts, analyze it and give some advice.

If there were no resistance from rise to fall, there would be no difference in the measurement results, but that is impossible. Is there something wrong with the measuring instrument? Or the connection pipe is leaking, etc
The connection pipe is blocked, the connection to the storage section has been severed, and there is corrosion-related air leakage
There is theoretically definitely a difference between the rising and falling values; generally, this difference is around 8–10 Pa. If there is no such difference, there could be several possible reasons: 1. The pressure guiding tube is blocked; 2. Air leakage in the pressure guide tube, especially in the downward airflow tube (including tube perforations, loose pressure measurement holes, or valves that are not properly closed) ; 3. Severe leakage between the rising and descending flue channels (very low probability) ; 4. The pressure gauge is broken ; 5. The gas and exhaust gas exchanges are all set to the middle position
Inaccurate data is affecting you; measure directly at the top of the heat storage chamber
If the testing equipment has no blockages or leaks, and there are no abnormalities such as leaks in the regenerator, then in theory, only at low load levels is it possible for the resistance of the small thermal buoyancy mechanism used for creating suction to counteract part of that suction; this situation occurs only at low loads with low suction levels.
