As title: Issues with the installation of one-way valves at the boundaries of refining units.
Refer to the specific provisions in Article 3.3 of SH/T3122
Check valves are rarely installed at the device boundaries. We installed check valves on the alkali slag line, as multiple workshops share one main pipeline. Moreover, the pipeline needs to be cleaned after each use, and it is the workshop that uses it that is responsible for cleaning it; the other workshops do not need to do so. Therefore, check valves are installed on the main pipelines of each workshop.
It is beneficial for equipment maintenance, purging, pressure testing, starting up and shutting down, etc. It is advisable to use an 8-shaped blind plate between the two valves; if possible, having a drain point at a lower position would also be good, as this could create a zero-pressure section!
