The heavy gasoline goes into another distillation tower to be divided into medium gasoline and the heaviest fraction of gasoline. The medium gasoline is desulfurized using extraction methods, while the heaviest fraction is subjected to hydrogenation and desulfurization in a hydrogenation reactor. After desulfurization, the heavy gasoline, medium gasoline, and light gasoline are mixed together and sent to an alkaline wash column for further desulfurization before being shipped out. However, the gasoline sent out has not passed the Doctor tests in recent days due to the presence of contaminants; previously, these tests were successful, and when they failed occasionally, it was possible to get them to pass by changing the type of alkali used.
