Answer: No. Since the instruments we use generally cannot directly reflect parameter values, but rather require conversion – for example, using differential pressure to indicate liquid level height – and some instruments need calibration during on-site measurement, the calibration range of the instrument and its corresponding measurement range are not the same thing.

The measurement range is the interval that an instrument can cover within its accuracy limits, whereas the calibrated range is an interval that is adjusted within that measurement range to meet specific measurement requirements. It may be identical to the measurement range, or it may be smaller than it, but it cannot be larger than the measurement range.
