Sinopec has issued regulations regarding environmental protection measures for equipment inspection and maintenance, requiring that equipment and tanks be purged under sealed conditions before maintenance is carried out. This is relatively easy to implement for installations; however, it’s not clear how to carry out sealed purging of oil tanks. One benzene tank currently needs to be emptied – do any of you have any good suggestions? Thank you.

Once it meets the requirements, issue a permit for working inside the pressure vessel, and then carry out maintenance activities in accordance with the relevant regulations. 7. During maintenance, at least two people must be present to supervise the process.
Closed purging is environmentally friendly; for example, when using steam to purge tanks, benzene-containing gases can spread into the atmosphere. Is it possible to recover the condensed steam?
