GB 20801 requires a higher hydrostatic test pressure than that used in the power industry. Have you noticed this? Which standard should be followed? Pipelines in a particular industry must comply with the standards of that industry. GB/T20801 applies to pressure pipelines; many pipelines in the power sector are power pipelines.
We discovered this a long time ago; following the electrical specifications will ensure accuracy, so there’s no need to worry about 20801.
This formula is clearly different; that is, when temperature correction is applied, the coefficient is 1.25, while for 20801 it is always 1.5. This results in a significant difference in pressure differences
