What type of actuation mechanism does this ball valve have, and what is its function?
The user said that this ball valve is of the normally open type; in emergency situations, it automatically closes to release the gas supply, and there is no need for a gas supply to trigger its closure
Pneumatic head with spring diaphragm, shuts off when air is lost
The drive unit hasn’t been disassembled; it doesn’t look that way. It should be closed by a spring
