We are a catalytic cracking unit with catalysts inside the two reactors. I want to use a pipeline endoscope to check whether the slide valves are sealed properly and whether the material flow paths are unobstructed. However, the endoscopes provided by ordinary manufacturers don’t allow clear visibility due to the catalysts present in the pipelines. Do you have any recommendations?
All good endoscopes come equipped with LED lights – is it because the light intensity isn’t sufficient or what?

Based on the problem you described, conventional industrial endoscopes available on the market are basically unable to handle this situation, as there are high concentrations of certain substances in the air; even if the parameters of the light source are adjusted, penetration remains difficult; But images still cannot penetrate media in the air; moreover, when images try to pass through such media, the slow reflection that occurs as light passes through the medium results in an imaging effect that is similar to driving on a foggy day ; So for special environmental requirements like yours, one can only turn to manufacturers for custom fabrication.
