For ammonia stop valves, should round flanges or socket flanges be used? Are there any strict regulations that prohibit the use of socket flanges?

The minimum design pressure for ammonia is 2.5 Mpa. How do you use flanges in this case?
Are you referring to the middle part or the end flange?

The standards for ammonia stop valves do not impose any mandatory requirements regarding flanges; instead, they offer two options for the internal components: fluorine-lined or babbitt-lined. As for whether to use a flanged or round flange (usually referring to the flange used for connecting the middle body cover), it is determined based on each manufacturer’s design and molds. The claim mentioned above that a 2.5 Mpa pressure level does not allow the use of flanges is incorrect; generally, forged valve bodies use flanges regardless of whether they are used under high or low pressure.
