Help: Has anyone used Bonlok type pipe connectors? Bonnock pipe fittings are permanent pipe connection devices that achieve a high-strength, hermetic seal between metals, without the need for welding. The medium is butyraldehyde, at 1.0 MPa and room temperature, with a maximum nominal diameter of 6”. The owner wants to use it, but is unsure about the sealing performance Does anyone have any practical experience to share?

It’s just a superficial change – the front and rear clips together with the connector body form a single unit that cannot be disassembled; unlike clip-on types which can be reinstalled, its operating pressure is also not high. It seems like trying to be clever has backfired; there’s no future in it
