How to deal with broken bolts on the sealing cover of a worm gear ball valve? Can the valve be moved?
You mean the filler cap, right? Are there any other types of sealing caps? I haven’t heard of such things
It definitely rotates; go and replace the bolts right away. By the time an accident happens, it will be too late
It can be moved, but it is not recommended; leakage will occur at the valve stem. It is advised to apply emergency sealant at the valve stem and carry out repairs when the machine is shut down
It should be replaced immediately to prevent leaks at the packing and avoid accidents.
