For pipe flanged valves in Series 2 of GB/T17395-2008, which standard should be used? Pipes in Series 1 can generally be matched with GB or HG flange standards. But for the pipes in series two, no suitable flanges can be found. For example, for a pipe with an outer diameter of 63 (63.5), when used with a DN50 flange according to HG20592, the corresponding pipes of series A have an outer diameter of 60.3, while those of series B have an outer diameter of 57. It’s even more impossible to use a DN65 pipe in this context. Which standard and which series of valves and flanges should be chosen for this application?
Use HG flanges to create custom-made versions!
This is a standard for pipes, and I think it isn’t applicable to all pipe sizes; some may not fall within the commonly used specifications for pipes, which makes it difficult to find suitable flanges. If you provide the specific flange dimensions, it will be easier to determine what’s appropriate
Thank you. We can only manufacture custom flanges, but it’s difficult to find matching custom valves. I’m thinking of using a 63-76 reducer, with DN65 flanges and valves, as that might result in lower costs
When designing pipes, the pipe diameter should be selected in accordance with pipeline specifications to facilitate piping work; I’m not sure why you chose that diameter in the first place.
