The rotary compensator is a new type of compensator for thermal expansion compensation in thermal pipelines. The rotary compensator can be installed on steam buried pipes, which helps to significantly reduce costs and improve operational safety. On main pipelines, rotary compensators are generally installed in groups of 150 to 500 meters apart (the spacing can be determined based on the natural terrain); there are over a dozen different installation methods, and the arrangement can be chosen according to the direction in which the pipeline runs. After installing this type of compensator, the spacing between the fixed supports increases; to prevent bending of the pipe section, it is necessary to add guide supports as appropriate. To reduce the frictional resistance during the movement of the pipe section, rolling bearings should be installed on the sliding supports.
