Could everyone please help me check whether this valve installation is reasonable?

I would like to ask everyone: is the installation location of the check valve behind the pump appropriate? There was a discussion in the forum regarding the sequence of installing the gate valve and check valve after the pump; the general opinion was to install the check valve first, and in my process flow diagram I also prefer to install the check valve first. I hope to get answers from everyone; please provide your opinions along with the reasons behind them. I’m new to this industry and there are many things I don’t know; thank you all
The standard piping setup includes an inlet valve, filter, drain valve, reducer, pump, outlet reducer, pressure gauge, check valve, drain valve, and outlet valve.
