Having worked on LNG projects for a few years, every time I needed to purchase ultra-low temperature check valves, the manufacturers always said that none in the swing-type design were available. Lacking experience, I settled for lift-type ultra-low temperature check valves. After several years of use in projects, it was found that the lift-type check valve is a real flaw – it’s not very user-friendly due to its excessive spring force. It does not meet the requirements. Are there any manufacturers that produce swing check valves for LNG use?
