As the title suggests, are there any detailed specifications regarding the openings in the other three fittings?
It seems that holes aren’t allowed in the fittings, right?
According to the GBT12459 standard, tees cannot be fabricated by welding holes in steel pipes; therefore, holes cannot be made.
It depends; as a last resort, it’s not impossible to drive. In the past, it was common on design drawings to provide holes in elbows for installing thermometers; this practice is generally not used for tees.

GB12459 does not allow openings. But in practice, I have seen customers doing it through the opening in the elbow
