The temperature of the fluid in the pipeline is 480°C; what type of lubricant should be used to maintain the valve actuator?
Is there any heat dissipation mechanism between the actuator and the valve? If the temperature transmitted to the actuator is not high, ordinary lubricating oil will suffice.
What is the outer wall temperature of the actuator?
Without heat sinks, the actuator temperature reaches 120°C.
Typical actuators do not require maintenance; for high-temperature operation, the valve stem is extended and equipped with heat sinks
For the actuator, the sealing ring should be made of FKM fluororubber; as for lubricant, high-temperature resistant silicone grease should be used. For pipes operating at 480°C, it is better to use extension rods
