Do wafer-type butterfly check valves require flanges specific to butterfly valves?

In other words, are the flanges designed specifically for butterfly valves intended for use only with wafer-type butterfly valves, or should they be used for all valves with wafer-type connections?
There are several different structural designs for butterfly check valves; one of them uses a butterfly valve as the base； Another type is the double-disc check valve, also commonly known as the butterfly check valve. The latter can use conventional flanges.
Series A butterfly valves require special flanges, while Series B does not – standard flanges are sufficient. Series A butterfly valves can only be used up to CL150 pressure rating, whereas those of Series B can be used at any pressure rating
The double-disc type should be a swing-type, right?
Are all butterfly check valves wafer-type? Are there any with flanges?
