A gas-tightness test can be conducted; of course, this method can be used when the operating pressure of the pipeline is not high.
Upstairs, tests are being conducted on the weld leakage of storage tanks; after that, water filling tests will be carried out to check the tightness of the tanks. The pipes also need to undergo pressure testing
For atmospheric-pressure sulfuric acid storage tanks made of non-metallic materials (such as PP, FRP), a water filling test using clean water is sufficient； If it is a steel lining with FRP, three steps are required: before starting the lining process after all parts of the steel tank have been welded, weld seam inspection must be carried out (using kerosene or coloring development); once the anti-corrosion lining is in place, an electric spark test is performed. Finally, fill it to the brim again. The water filling test can also be carried out immediately after the steel tank is welded.
