Thank you for your advice! A few days ago, while going for a walk, I came across construction work on heating pipelines (probably pipes for delivering hot water), and out of curiosity, I took some photos.

Its structure is that of a conventional soft-seal ball valve, with the model number 1200Q367F-25, and it features a worm gear mechanism for pipeline systems
It’s a ball valve, with a fully welded structure. They are used more in gas transmission lines.
Fully welded fixed ball valve driven by a worm gear; it is not possible to determine whether it has a soft seal or a hard seal, nor is it possible to identify the material used. As for the model number, it is 1200Q367F-25 for soft-seal valves (the latter part plus the material code corresponding to the valve body), and it is 1200Q367Y-25 for hard-seal valves (the latter part plus the material code corresponding to the valve body).
Are welded ball valves not suitable for heating purposes? If the valve gets damaged, wouldn’t it be very troublesome to repair it?

There is always a trade-off: the advantage of fully welded structures is that they require no maintenance over the long term and have few leakage points, but the downside is that they cannot be repaired at all.
